ORDAO App + OREC (Optimistic Respect-based Executive Contract)
ORDAO represents a system to upgrade Optimism Fractal software. The working code-name for this new software package is "ORDAO" (Optimistic Respect-Based DAO). Everyone can learn about ORDAO by watching the introductory presentation and discussion at the Optimism Town Hall. You can watch Dan share a brief overview of ORDAO starting here and learn much more in Tadas’ presentation, followed by a thoughtful community discussion.
You can watch a comprehensive presentation about OREC (Optimistic Respect-based Executive Contract), which is the core mechanism of ORDAO, in a recent episode of Eden Fractal. OREC is a smart contract that executes transactions on behalf of an organization or community that has a non-transferrable reputation token, which the community calls Respect. This allows communities to easily make collective decisions and onchain actions with a high degree of decentralization. You’re welcome to explore more in this OREC Github repo.

1:28:59 Dan mentions previous project that Patrick referred to called firmament.
1:29:57 Vlad states great job Tadas, in terms of link between his app and Tadas, he agrees with Tadas. Good that we are doing separate experimentations. Sort of trying to achieve same thing, especially likes the custom call functionality.

1:32:45 Dan thanks for great questions, also requests community please raise hands. Asks if anyone else questions.
1:34:01 Dan gives his thoughts on main differences between Tadas and Vlad’s apps. One is ERC1155 now being called ORDAO, Tadas is building Orec system. Vlad is building a system a contract can be managed by the top 6, whereas Tadas is building Orec system using different parameters. Both have interesting trade offs
1:36:30 Vlad states that Dan nailed it in terms of main differences. Tadas version relies on decisions being made by token holders, in his system there is a council which decides which actions are executed.
1:37:19 Patrick adds another difference, there is no need for a wallet in Vlad’s system. In Tadas solution is he trying to abstract onboarding.
1:38:27 Tadas responds not currently concentrating on onboarding, Tadas responds to Patrick’s question about token, each respect is non fungible token. Shares screen on optimism fractal awards.

1:50:10 Will suggests Tadas make a proposal in snapshot for testing next week.
1:50:34 Patrick comments it could be interesting with AI summaries, like a companion. Details his idea on doing something with data, using LLM.
1:52:56 Tadas and Dan both reply to Patrick on how this has been previously discussed
1:53:22 Patrick mentions to Dan they have grilled quizzes, AI generated to create a quiz for Eden or Optimism fractal.
